FAU High School Solar CyberSedan

Advanced is very proud to continue sponsoring FAU High school students in their engineering and technology adventures. This past Saturday, Florida Atlantic Solar Owls brought their new four-seat ALSET CyberSedan (inspired by the Tesla Cybertruck), fully operated on eight SunPower 180 panels, to our HQ in Fort Lauderdale. Most of the car is made of carbon-fiber sandwich composite board with a recycled PET bottle foam core. The roll bars and safety cell are made of thin-wall chromoly steel.

This week, the FAU team is going to The Solar Car Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas, and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments. Good luck!
